MUNERA 2026

WHAT IS MUN?

Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation where students role-play as diplomats representing countries. They debate global issues, draft resolutions, and work together to find solutions — all while practicing public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills.

THE GAMES

Pure speed over 100–400 m. Explosive starts, drive phase, form to the line. Lane discipline is absolute; a step outside can void a run. Times are electronic to 0.01 s with photo finish. Watch the stagger unwind, the mid-race surge, and the dip at the tape.

sprint races
Football
Rugby
Relays

Full-size 11v11 on an Olympic-sized pitch (~105×68 m). Two 45-minute halves, 15-minute halftime. FIFA Laws apply: offside active, direct/indirect free kicks, cautions and send-offs. Up to 5 substitutions in three windows plus halftime. Match officials: referee and two assistant referees. Standard equipment: Size-5 ball, shin guards, numbered kits. Draw resolution: league games may end level; knockout goes extra time (2×15) then KFTPM. Safety first: no jewelry; sliding and aerial challenges judged strictly.

Four runners, one baton, no margin. The 4×100 is raw speed and precision—blind exchanges inside the zone decide medals, and a mistimed pass ends the race. The 4×400 is strategy and grit—clean first-leg break, smart positioning, and an anchor with a well-timed kick. Watch the exchange zones, the stagger unwinding, and the anchor hunting daylight. Clean passes win; dropped batons and late exchanges don’t finish. Fastest total time wins.

Full-union, 15v15, 80 minutes. Watch eight-man scrums for go-forward, lifted lineouts for steals, and quick rucks that launch the backs. The kicking duel flips territory with box kicks and touch finders. Scoring: try 5, conversion 2, penalty 3, drop goal 3. Yellow card is 10 minutes down a player. Discipline at the breakdown decides who controls the match.
